About Us

Theo is a Dance Champion from Ghana and the head instructor at Dancation. Since childhood he has shown a massive passion for music and dancing. Theo is the 4th Place British Dance Champion Professional Level 2010 and Joint 1st Winners of the Britsh Open Salsa Showcase. He is an expert in both New York and Cuban style. He has a wide array of experience in the field of salsa, alongside others forms of dance including bachata, merengue, casino rueda, zouk, kizomba and cha cha cha. He has been mentored by some of the best in the world of salsa both in the UK and Ghana. To him, salsa is about the passion and his energetic teaching and dancing style exudes this. He is the resident teacher at Spice bar in Leeds and Victoria Hall in Saltaire. He is also a regular teacher at congresses around the Uk and travels across Britain to share his unique style of dancing which is a fusion of afrocuban and on 1 dancing.
