About Us

Theo is the head instructor at Dancation. He is a dance champion from Ghana and an expert in both New York and Cuban styles and is also the originator of the hybrid dance pattern. He has a wide array of experience in the field of salsa, alongside others forms of dance including bachata, merengue, casino rueda, zouk, kizomba and cha cha cha. He has been mentored by some of the best in the world of salsa both in the UK and Ghana. To him, salsa is about the passion and his energetic teaching and dancing style exudes this.

Nicky is an expert in her field and gives Dancation a variety with regards to dancing sytles. Nicky is an expert in the New York style of dancing and works tirelessly to ensure the women's styling on the dance floor is to the beat.

Gabby is a member of our dance team and mostly leads our well-loved line dancing during the classes. The salsa line dance routines are a fun and effective way to improve footwork and free the hips allowing the synovial fluid in the body work its magic. She is also Dancation's stylist and make-up artist ensuring our dancers look their best during shows. She is also the first aider of the team.

Dee is a member of our dance team and is in charge of public relations. She keeps the public aware of all of the latest information regarding upcoming events as well as working as Dancation treasurer and being in charge of our bookings. When she is not busy dancing bachata with Tom or looking her sexiest on the floor, she helps in leading our line dances.

Tom is the newest addition to the Dancation team. A master of salsa and bachata, he is a love to watch on the dance floor. Tom helps in bringing the improvers up to speed in our dance classes and his style of dancing is described by some as tai chi, due to its relaxed form filled with so much passion and intensity.

Yazmine is another new addition to our team, she comes from a background of modern jazz, contemporary dance and hip hop, she adds style and flavour to our team.
